The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

Just recently retired from 43 years of teaching and coaching at Bloomington South High School in Bloomington, Indiana. Head Baseball coach for 27 years and asst. Football coach for over 20 years. Raised 2 sons, Tom lives in Elk Mound, Wisconsin with his family, and my other Son Jim lives about 20 miles south of Bloomington. Have 5 grandchildren and all of them are very active in activities in school. My wife Nancy is getting ready to retire soon and then we can do some traveling to visit friends and family. Favorite memory of Penn State is participating in the 1963 College World Series as the starting left-fielder for the Nittany Lions. I was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and was a HPER Major during my educational years. Have been able to go to the Penn State Football games when they came to play here at Indiana University. It was nice to see Papa Joe again.
